FAQ: FAQs
-
What is included in a typical class?Classes will generally include breathing and core work, light to moderate cardio, and muscle strengthening using resistance bands or dumbbells. They will conclude with stretching and guided relaxation.
-
I just had a baby. When can I safely join in for a class or session? You may typically expect to return to exercise after your 6 week appointment and once you have your physician's clearance to exercise.
-
I haven't been actively exercising on my own. Will I be able to keep up in class? My classes are designed to allow all levels to participate. Modifications will be offered for various levels and postpartum concerns. You won't be expected to do anything your body isn't ready for. You will be required to have physician clearance if pregnant or postpartum. Moms in later stages are still advised to obtain clearance for exercise especially if medical issues such as heart problems or diabetes are present.
-
What should I bring to class?Bring water. If you want to bring your own mat, towel or blanket for comfort feel free to do so.
-
Will there be childcare or can I bring my baby to class?I will be working on developing childcare services that will be included in future business planning but at this time there will not be separate childcare provided. Many classes will be family friendly with a play area in the workout space for children old enough to play alone and babies can be incorporated into some workouts. I will include information on class descriptions and calendar page to specify if classes are child friendly.
